Marketing strategy for founder-led companies
Houston brand strategy for companies that are better than they look.
You’ve built something real. The market just can’t tell. We find the gap, fix what’s causing it, and answer for the result – because more marketing doesn’t fix weak messaging, it exposes it.
Which one are you?
I run a company.
You’re spending on marketing and it isn’t paying you back. Let’s find out why before you spend more.
I advise companies.
CPAs, CFOs, consultants and attorneys: when a client’s marketing spend isn’t earning its keep, send them for an independent second opinion.
I exhibit at trade shows.
Your booth gets about eight seconds of attention. We make the brand, the booth and the follow-up earn it.
More marketing alone won't differentiate you in a sea of ads.
And it won't fix the wrong message.
Marketing doesn’t fail because people don’t try hard enough. It fails because they’re saying the wrong thing, sometimes to the wrong people. A beautiful website is still a bad investment if your positioning is weak. Your audience almost never sees your business the way you do. Are you answering their questions and gaining their trust before asking for the sale?
Websites, ads, social posts and AI tools can’t rescue muddy positioning. When the message is wrong, every channel works harder and costs more.
We start upstream: who you serve, why they should care, what makes you different, and what will actually move them.
Marketing doesn't create trust.
It reveals whether you've earned it.

The partners
The people who actually do the work.
Most companies end up managing a designer, a web developer, an SEO shop and an ads agency, then wonder why nothing lines up. Here you manage one relationship. Heather sets the strategy and stays accountable for it. These are the specialists who build it.

FAQ
Questions we get weekly:
Website updates, packaging mockups or design – this is not marketing. It’s creative. No one past your immediate audience will see these things. The rest of the world needs to be told it’s there. Positioning comes before ad spend.
Posting without strategy, or in the wrong place, or with the wrong message – is just posting. Your clients do not see the business the way you do. Cheap posting = thin results.
Strategy is as much about what you don’t do, as what you do. Not because growth is bad or expansion is wrong, but expansion without constraint lacks strategy. If your current situation doesn’t allow you to market your core product or service, adding more stuff to market is a bad idea.
Hustle isn’t a strategy, it’s a necessity. Do you really know your audience’s pain points? What gets them off the fence? Will your website and or social prove that and convert them when they look later?
When your company has evolved but your market perception hasn’t. Need an example? Check this case study.
Because SEO amplifies positioning, it doesn’t create it. Need an example? Check this case study.
Good branding isn’t based on personal preference, but on audience behavior, competitive positioning, and business goals. Need an example? Check this case study.
We often collaborate with in-house designers or external creative partners, providing the strategic data that ties their work to your larger brand goals.
AI is excellent at research, iteration and production. We use it too. What it doesn’t replace is judgment: knowing what problem actually needs solving, which data matters, how people will perceive the result, and how all of it connects back to the business. Asking AI your SEO questions – it’s not that simple. It’s not comparing Search Console to Analytics and comparing your actual customers paid keywords, positioning to weigh relevancy, to suggest phrases your competition isn’t already owning. Also, most of its graphics – look just like your competitors.
